CNC milling quote — upload your print and get price and lead time

PrintToPart quotes CNC milling services for prototype, short-run, and repeat quantities. Send the drawing, CAD model, material, and quantities and we review the part the way it will be set up and cut.

What we quote

CNC milling work we price

Prismatic plates and blocks, housings, brackets, manifolds, fixture and tooling details, and 3D contoured parts in aluminum, steel, stainless, tool steel, brass, bronze, and plastics.

Tight tolerance milling is quoted with the setups, workholding, and inspection the print calls for. If a feature needs a secondary process such as grinding for flatness or Wire EDM for a sharp internal corner, that is included in the same quote.

Good fit for this process

  • Milled aluminum and steel parts, one-off through repeat quantities
  • Tight tolerance milling with positional or flatness callouts
  • Housings, plates, brackets, fixtures, and tooling details
  • Parts that also need turning, Wire EDM, or grinding
  • Prototype now with a production quantity to price alongside it

What to include with your quote request

  • Drawing or print with dimensions and tolerances
  • CAD model (STEP preferred) for contoured geometry
  • Material and condition, plus any substitution you allow
  • Quantities, including quantity breaks you want compared
  • Surface finish, coating, or plating requirements
  • Inspection or documentation requirements
  • Target lead time

Process-aware requirements

Details that change the price and the lead time

Tolerances and datums

Called-out tolerances and datum structure drive setup count and inspection time more than overall part size does.

Material and stock

Material condition and available stock sizes affect both price and lead time. Tell us if a substitution is acceptable.

Finish requirements

As-machined, deburred, bead blast, anodize, or plating — each adds process steps that belong in the quote up front.

Quantity and repeat intent

One-off pricing and repeat-order pricing differ. Sharing expected repeat volume lets us quote the fixture approach that fits.

Thin walls and deep pockets

Deep pockets, thin walls, and small internal radii change tooling and cycle time. Flag anything you know is delicate.

Secondary operations

Grinding for flatness, EDM for sharp corners, tapping, or assembly steps are quoted with the milling instead of after the fact.
